Towne Connections


This program seeks to support Franklin Towne’s commitment to a family like atmosphere by providing financial and emotional support for members of the FTC community who are in need.  Towne Connections can help with food, uniforms, school supplies and other needs of students and their families.  Referrals are made by students, staff, families, etc.


Education for Children & Youth Experiencing Homelessness (ECYEH)


In accordance with the McKinney-Vento Homelessness Act, Franklin Towne is committed to removing barriers to education for children and youth experiencing homelessness.

This includes
  • Individuals who lack a fixed, regular, or adequate nighttime residence (shelters, etc.)
  • Children and families who are sharing the housing of other persons due to economic hardship
  • Unaccompanied youth, which are youth who are not in the physical custody of a parent or guardian
  • Children awaiting foster placement
