Welcome Back!

My name is Mr. Phelps and I am a Learning Support teacher for 8th grade Math and an Instructional Support teacher for grades 6-8. I have been with Franklin Towne since 2016 and I am looking forward to working with your child(ren) this year.

I grew up in Tampa, FL and graduated with my dual Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education / Special Education from the University of West Florida in Pensacola, FL. I completed my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction specializing in Technology from Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester, NH.

I taught grades K-2 in Tampa, FL for my first few years of teaching, then relocated to Philadelphia. I taught 2nd grade for a year at another school and then worked in a variety of teaching positions here at Franklin Towne.
