Mrs. Greer's ELA Classroom

I anticipate a great year of discovering new genres, achieving new goals, and constructing a warm and enjoyable learning community. We will use a variety of story genres to deepen their reading and vocabulary skills. We will also be doing novel studies and learning to analyze text on a deeper level. Sharing my creativity to make the content meaningful, memorable, and enjoyable is my ultimate goal.
Please refer to this web page through out the year for various links and information to support your child's learning. Together, I hope to achieve much success this year!
My name is Brittany Greer and I am excited to be starting my second year at FTCES! I was born, raised, and still reside in Philadelphia. I am a graduate of Widener University where I earned both my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Master's degree in Special Education.
This year will be my fourth year teaching 5th grade Language Arts. I also have experience teaching 5th and 6th grade Language Arts and Social Studies and Pre-K.
